Rill Assembly — Credits

# Credits and asset inventory

This QA pass adapts the supplied site, rather than claiming a new source or new rights for its retained assets. The available brief and provenance evidence are described in [PROVENANCE.md](./PROVENANCE.md). No supplied photograph or template image is used or removed: the project contains no raster artwork assets. Recolouring and rewriting do not change an asset’s license.

## Site artwork and code

| Asset | Source and treatment in this pass | Rights / location |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Liquid hero | Retained shader and OGL setup from the supplied implementation. This restoration copies the five original RGB vectors from `[local source record]` (orange, amber, coral, peach, lavender); the entire resulting shader file matches that reference. No third-party shader source was found or added. | Supplied project MIT license; `src/liquid.js` |
| Four project illustrations | Retained procedural CSS geometry: orbit lines, soda cans, architectural arches, and a landscape. All brand lettering, captions, and project narratives rewritten for the fictional studies. | Supplied project MIT license; `src/artworks.js`, `src/style.css` |
| Arrows and decorative symbols | Retained inline SVG arrow and Unicode glyphs rendered using the site fonts/system fonts; no icon pack. | Supplied code under MIT; `src/artworks.js` |
| Hero grain | Retained embedded SVG `feTurbulence` filter; generated in the browser, no downloaded texture. | Supplied code under MIT; `src/style.css` |
| Favicon | Retained locally written SVG “r” mark for Rill Assembly; recoloured to the original orange `#f45532` and near-black `#20201c`. | Project MIT license; `public/favicon.svg` |
| Copy, layout, interactions | Existing structure and motion adapted for Rill Assembly, its public-space concept, and local worksheet. This restoration preserves all text and concept labels; original ink, paper, and warm accent values come from `[local source record]`. | Project MIT license; `src/main.js`, `src/style.css` |
| Screenshots | Local Chromium renders of this site, generated by the supplied capture utility and Playwright checks. | Depict the site and its assets; `qa/`, `screenshots/`, `screenshot.png`, `mobile.png` |

Rill Assembly, Afterhours Atlas, Peel Relay, Borrow Almanac, and Common Mile Index are fictional concept identities in this presentation. No client relationship, registered trademark, real-world project, or business outcome is asserted. No generative image service, stock library, supplied Scrolltide/GetLayers image, or paid asset was used in this pass. There are no supplied template image files to attribute: the four retained illustrations are the procedural source graphics inventoried above. Their exact local source is `src/artworks.js` plus the `.artwork-*` rules in `src/style.css`; their pre-identity geometry is also present in `[local source record]`.

The supplied [LICENSE](./LICENSE) retains its existing copyright notice. Third-party software and fonts retain their own licenses.

## Fonts

Both WOFF2 files were inherited with the starting project and were not modified in this pass. The previous credits identify Google Fonts as their distribution source and describe them as Latin variable subsets; the exact original CDN download URLs were not recorded. The upstream family repositories and bundled copyright/license texts are listed below. Font substitutions or cosmetic changes do not relicense these files.

| File | Font and attribution | Use | Source / license |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `public/fonts/dm-sans.woff2` | DM Sans; The DM Sans Project Authors | Hero, body text, controls, most artwork | [Upstream Google Fonts family](https://github.com/google/fonts/tree/main/ofl/dmsans), SIL OFL 1.1; [bundled license](./public/fonts/DM-Sans-OFL.txt) |
| `public/fonts/space-grotesk.woff2` | Space Grotesk; The Space Grotesk Project Authors / Florian Karsten | Rill wordmark, section headlines, metadata, Borrow artwork | [Upstream Google Fonts family](https://github.com/google/fonts/tree/main/ofl/spacegrotesk), SIL OFL 1.1; [bundled license](./public/fonts/Space-Grotesk-OFL.txt) |

The decorative studio asterisk uses the Arial/sans-serif system font stack; no additional font file is bundled.

## Runtime libraries

Versions below are the installed, locked versions. License labels are taken from the installed package metadata.

| Library | Version | License | Upstream |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| OGL | 1.0.11 | Unlicense | [oframe/ogl](https://github.com/oframe/ogl) |
| GSAP + ScrollTrigger | 3.15.0 | GSAP Standard “no charge” license; not MIT | [GSAP source](https://github.com/greensock/GSAP), [license](https://gsap.com/standard-license/) |
| Lenis | 1.3.27 | MIT | [darkroomengineering/lenis](https://github.com/darkroomengineering/lenis) |

OGL provides rendering primitives; GSAP handles transitions and reveals; Lenis handles smooth scrolling. No paid service is required.

## Build and QA

| Tool | Version | License / source |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Vite | 8.3.5 | MIT; [vitejs/vite](https://github.com/vitejs/vite) |
| Playwright | 1.64.1 | Apache-2.0; [microsoft/playwright](https://github.com/microsoft/playwright) |
| axe-core Playwright integration | 4.14.0 | MPL-2.0; [dequelabs/axe-core-npm](https://github.com/dequelabs/axe-core-npm/tree/develop/packages/playwright) |
| Scroll capture utility | Supplied local script | Unmodified copy from `[local source record]`; no separate upstream URL or license supplied; retained as a QA utility in `qa/capture.mjs` |
| Chromium | Installed system browser | Open-source browser used only to capture and verify the site; no browser binaries bundled |

`package-lock.json` records transitive dependency versions. Library source links are attribution references, not runtime requests.
